"I have known Sam Hunter professionally since 2001, when I was the Executive Producer for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester and engaged her as Production Stage Manager across both Ceremonies. We worked together again on the Pan American Games in Guadalajara in 2011 and by that stage the team of Sam Hunter as PSM and Julia Whittle as Calling Stage Manager was cemented.

 

I have enormous respect for both women and am disappointed not to have worked together more often. Professional, extremely experienced and great team players.  The management of the SM team was exemplary and disciplined, but never let it be said there was no humour in the stadiums!  

 

They are both much respected by Producers and Creative Teams around the world, and have around them, a long long list of experienced professionals who have had the benefit of their training and guidance.
