"We regularly work with the best directors, choreographers, composers and producers, but on the night of an Opening Ceremony the show is completely out of their hands. The responsibility of delivering the show falls to the operators, choreography team and the stage management team, led by the show caller and production stage manager. 

These two roles are the most critical to the delivery of the ceremony as they are there to provide the steady hand of confidence and competence that guides all departments through the show. 

 

I have worked with Sam and Julia on many projects including London 2012 and Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Ceremonies, Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games Ceremonies and many other smaller scale projects since 2004.
